More about the Girl Child Empowerment.
In this project, wefocus on providing solutions to challenges hindering success of a girl-child in her process of growth. Other than educating a girl-child, we moved an extra mile to address the problem of girls' inability to access sanitary pads in rural areas. A report from the world Bank shows that 500 million women and girls globally lack access to adequate facilities for menstrual hygiene management. We, through support from our donors, provide free sanitary pads to girls in rural areas of Butayunja subcounty, Malangala subcounty, and Kitooma subcounty. A sanitary pad costs only 1 USD (3500 shillings). The little you have can make an impact in the life of a girl-child. We need atleast 500 USD on a monthly basis, inorder to serve adequate sanitary pads to our community. May God bless you as you donate towards this cause.
